REINHOLD FOUNDATION HOSTS NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP & CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING VIRTUALLY IN 2021
Through its Leadership Development and Capacity Building Initiative, the Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation focuses on strengthening the nonprofit sector by strengthening the leadership and capacity of nonprofit organizations that serve Clay County.
The Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation offered eight nonprofit training curriculums in 2021. The program curriculums were designed and taught by faculty from the Rollins College Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership.
The Reinhold Foundation underwrote all costs of training; thus, there were no tuition expenses for selected participating organizations.
In addition, the Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation provided a special incentive to organizations that participated in a training program. Organizations earned “participation gifts” of $400 per person for completion of Fundamentals of Successful Fundraising (24 total hours); $100 per person for completion of Effective Storytelling for Nonprofits (6 total hours); $100 per person for completion of The Importance of Strategy for the Post Pandemic World (6 total hours); $100 per person for completion of Creating an Actionable Marketing and Social Media Plan (6 total hours); $100 per person for completion of Leadership Strategies to Meet Changing Nonprofit Sector Needs (6 total hours); $100 per person for completion of Nonprofit Accounting & Budgeting Basics (6 total hours); $50 per person for completion of Special Event Success (3 total hours); and $50 per person for completion of The Art of Networking (3 total hours). Participation gifts were paid to the organizations and had to be used for one or more of the exempt purposes set forth in Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3).
Twenty-five nonprofit organizations serving Clay County residents participated in the Foundation's 2021 Nonprofit Leadership Development and Capacity Building Training Programs.
